BRIAN SKLAR

The name Brian Sklar is synonymous with great country music entertainment; with special emphasis on the word "entertainment." Sklar is one of Canada's most awarded country performers, with multiple nominations in Canada and the United States, including:

* Entertainer of the Year
* Album of the Year
* Song of the Year
* Producer of the Year
* Television Show of the Year
* Group of the Year (Prairie Fire Band)

When Sklar takes to the stage, audiences are guaranteed two hours of high-energy entertainment, featuring classic country music, and world-class fiddling. He has toured the U.S. for over ten years, playing Texas dance halls, Las Vegas casinos, seven appearances at Nashville's annual Fan Fair (including a week at Nashville's Opryland Hotel - the only country act ever to perform in the main room), and "A" rooms in Florida, Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

His 10th album "Not Suitabie For Airplay" is a collection of sixteen songs, seven of which he wrote, plus two written and performed by his son, Aaron, who plays drums in Sklar's group, and six classics.

Sklar’s appearances in 1999 include the Calgary Stampede, The Big Valley Jamboree (Canada's largest outdoor jamboree at Craven, Saskatchewan), Country in the City (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), plus appearances at all five Saskatchewan casinos, numerous rodeos and fairs in both Canada and the United States, and his 30th EuroTour.

Sklar is also proudly promoting his son, Aaron, who recently signed a production deal in Nashville and whose first release is expected sometime in 2000.

A total entertainment experience, the Brian Sklar Show is a must-see for anyone who likes to party and loves real country music.
