Touring mainly in Europe since 2001, Doug Adkins is coming back home to tour the Rocky Mountain region in 2008. A graduate from Sidney High School, Doug has written over 200 country songs and recorded 7 albums, Now Doug hopes to find acceptence for his songs in the U.S.
A couple of Doug's successes while in Europe were a #1 ranking on the U.K. Hot Disk Country Charts and a #4 on the German Country Charts in 2006 with his single 'Whiskey Salesman'. That was followed with a #4 ranking on Hot Disk Charts with the single 'Window Shoppin'. Also in 2006, Doug toured a 7 date tour accross Europe with Hall of Fame Songwriter Paul Overstreet. While touring in Europe Doug has been fortunate to perform in countries like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Switzerland and even Poland.
